The location puts you right in the thick of Stone Town's vibrant pulse, giving easy access to local sights and sounds. Unique architectural details in the hotel create a charming atmosphere, setting it apart from other places I've been to.
Stains on the towels and sheets don't exactly scream clean, and not having fresh towels during a three-night stay is frustrating. The air conditioning is a mixed bag. It either throws ice-cold blasts or feels nonexistent. Lastly, power outages can strike, catching guests off guard.

I stayed for 2 nights in a Standard Double Room and the room was decent-sized. The air conditioning was a lifesaver! It's nice having a shared bathroom that was always clean. The best part? The location is perfect, super close to the fish market. Definitely felt at home thanks to the cute staff. Breakfast was tasty too, with just enough options to keep it interesting.

The location stands out, being just a stone's throw from the heart of the city and popular dining spots. Shared facilities were clean, and breakfast choices, particularly the vegetarian options, were enjoyable. The air conditioning was inconsistent was nice, and the hotel experienced a few power outages . While the minor issues detracted slightly from the experience, the overall charm and accessibility of the area create a nice visit.
